dc.description.abstractThis study examines powerful political, cultural, and economic factors motivate relationships that exist or emerge between the separate elements of an educational system during the transformation to teaching and learning with video conferencing and Smartboard technologies to teach English Language Learning methods to Arab speaking, preservice teaching a middle eastern university. The UAE higher educational system and other developing countries are quickly moving to the forefront in preparing the world's next generation of individuals, citizens, and workers. This emerging body of work discusses investments underway in the United Arab Emirates educational system. Since the early 90s, UAE Reform efforts show that the richest knowledge base places emphasis toward both educational change and modernization of schools and teacher education programs that prepare their teachers.en_US
