dc.description.abstractIn this paper, a new probability distribution called the Lindley q-distribution is introduced. We show that this distribution include the Lindley q-distribution of the first kind and second kind . Its properties including q-moments, q- variance and q-cumlative functions have been discussed. Estimation parameters based on the fixed point method and the method of moments are obtained. Finally, we have illustrated the performances of the proposed q-distributions by some simulation studies. Keywords: Fixed point method, Q-calculus, Q-Lindley distribution, Q-simulation, Q-inverse transformation technique.
