dc.description.abstractVehicular Ad-hoc Networks (VANETs) are intelligent transportation system that provides wireless communication between vehicles and different objects in the road to increase human safety. Many security techniques have been developed in order to keep the network protected from various attacks. A Sybil attack is an identity attack in which the malicious node creates fake identities and claims to be a different node. This paper presents literature survey for detecting and preventing Sybil attacks in VANETs.en_US
