Dynamic key management is a pre requisite for ensuring confidentiality, authentication and other security primitives, which are needed in almost every type of network especially for future body sensor networks which shares patients personal information on network, the bio stats of the patient should be protected against attacks, the paper presents a simple key exchange protocol for implementing different security primitives to ensure patient's privacy, the paper reviews a key management protocols proposed by Eldefrawy et al. and Jiang et al.and then a light weight key exchange protocol with rekeying is proposed for key agreement between a gateway and BSN sensors.en_US
