Abstract

Rollover collisions are among the most serious collisions that usually result in severe injuries or fatalities. In 2009, there were 8,732 fatal rollover collisions in the United States of America that resulted in the death of 9,833 persons. ftose numbers represent approximately 28% and 29% of the total numbers of fatal collisions and fatalities, respectively. fte main objective of this paper is to examine the impact of di–erent risk factors that may contribute to this type of serious collisions to help develop countermeasures that limit them
