Abstract
In order to promote sustainable development this chapter integrates social economic and environmental goals while examining creative business models in rural manufacturing. It looks at how inclusive business practices, community-driven strategies, and technology developments are being used by rural social entrepreneurs to build businesses that solve the particular problems that rural communities face. These companies foster economic resilience while producing beneficial social and environmental effects by emphasizing shared ownership models, sustainable supply chains and local resource utilization. The chapter also explores the significance of funding sources and financial models such as impact investments and microfinance designed specifically for rural areas that facilitate the expansion of rural businesses.
