dc.description.abstractAI applications are transforming critical sectors, including healthcare, education, agriculture, energy, and climate monitoring, promoting more inclusive, efficient, and sustainable practices. By utilizing early warning systems, efficient resource allocation, and strategic policy measures, AI can contribute to poverty alleviation, reducing inequality, and promoting environmental conservation. Nevertheless, the ethical use and fair distribution of artificial intelligence technologies are of utmost importance to guarantee that the advantages are accessible to all, particularly in areas with limited resources. Problems such as algorithmic bias, data privacy, and digital divides require addressing through the creation of inclusive governance frameworks and collaboration across various sectors. Achieving the SDGs through AI necessitates a dedication to transparency, accountability, and adherence to human rights principles. When used responsibly and strategically, artificial intelligence (AI) can be a prevailing tool in supporting the global agenda for sustainable development.
