Navigating AI adoption challenges in HRM: Insights from the UAE

Abstract

The UAE has been at the forefront of AI adoption in HRM practices. The significance of AI is emphasized, futuristic challenges are examined, and several benefits of integrating it into HRM processes are explored in this chapter. Moreover, the chapter presents an extensive review on the application of AI in HRM within the UAE, its relevance to improving HR functions, and associated implementation challenges. In view of these factors, this chapter provides a useful resource for policymakers who can be urged to prioritize the use of AI in their HRM practices. It also facilitates further study on employees' attitudes towards and readiness for working with AI, which is crucial to successful AI integration in HRM.
