dc.description.abstractThe energy crisis, we are facing nowadays requires fast and efficient actions. Indeed, renewable sources are a main pillar, however storage systems are also principal pillars to overcome the intermittent nature of renewable sources. However, and to maintain a fully green system the storage should also be green and eco-friendly. Green to Green (G2G) are systems that gathers green sources and green storage. A typical solution is to couple renewable source to fuel cell. In this frame the present paper aims at studying the coupling of two renewable energy systems that are wind turbine and solar chimney to Fuel cell. A case study on the region of Rayak (Lebanon) is performed. Results show that in the first half of the year wind turbine-fuel cell coupling provides higher power supply whereas from June till November, solar chimney-fuel cell coupling is better. © 2022 Proceedings of WHEC 2022 - 23rd World Hydrogen Energy Conference: Bridging Continents by H2.
