dc.description.abstractPrecision oncology has made significant advancements in the field of medicine, transforming screening, diagnosis, and treatment strategies. Liquid biopsy, a noninvasive technique, has emerged as a promising tool in precision oncology. Circulating Tumor DNA (Ct DNA) has been identified as a specific biomarker for solid tumors and has multiple clinical applications. However, there is a need for cost-based global guidelines for Ct DNA testing, especially in low-middle income countries (LMICs) where economic conditions are unsatisfactory. Efforts are also required to improve the sensitivity and specificity of new DNA testing techniques. Establishing specialized laboratories for Ct DNA testing in LMICs and conducting clinical trials in these populations are crucial steps in the future of oncology.
