dc.description.abstractRobotic and IoT technology in post-acute rehabilitation is transforming patient recovery by utilizing robotic assistance and real-time monitoring. This combination of robotic exoskeletons, wearable devices with sensors, and intelligent data systems enables personalized therapy that adapts to each patient's unique body and abilities as needed. These systems track key factors such as muscle activity, joint movement, balance, and vital signs, and then adjust treatment on the spot to enhance results and identify any issues early. These tools bring medical care directly into homes and communities, making it easier for patients to follow their treatment plans and adhere to their medication regimens consistently. Early results indicate that utilizing robotics and IoT can help patients move more effectively, faster, and reduce the need for hospital visits, while also increasing their involvement in their recovery.
