dc.description.abstractThis chapter examines the widespread cultural stigmas that people with disabilities experience especially in light of regional stories and societal perceptions. This abstract draw attention to the complex nature of stigma which frequently results in discrimination social exclusion and a lack of opportunities for people with disabilities. Understanding local narratives-how communities view and discuss disabilities-is crucial because they can reinforce negative stereotypes and impede the advancement of inclusion. By involving local influencers religious leaders and organizations in education and awareness campaigns the study promotes community- based efforts to change these narratives. To dispel misconceptions and advance an accepting culture the research aims to promote discussions that highlight the importance of diversity and the abilities of people with disabilities.
