Abstract
In literature, many researchers put forward different types of authentication schemes for Distributed Cloud Computing environments. Some of the recently proposed schemes are based on a multi-factor authentication system, but such schemes are either vulnerable to different attacks and have large computation times. In 2018 Amin et al. provided a new scheme for Distributed Cloud Computing Environment and claimed that their scheme is much secure. Amin et al. introduced a new notion of perfect anonymity in distributed cloud computing environments where the Control server and cloud server remain unable to recognize the identity of a user requesting to login. Such notion of perfect anonymity is error nous and is not desirable in the distributed cloud computing environment, because if cloud servers and control servers are not able to know the identity of a user, they will not be able to provide user-specific services as per user requirement. We then proposed an improved scheme to combat the incorrectness and to provide the required security.
