dc.description.abstractVolatile Organic Compounds are one of the main air impurity groups in the atmosphere which are toxic compounds and are present in the environment. VOCs are discharged from a variety of sources, containing motor vehicles, chemical manufacturing services, plants, workshops, customer and profitable products, and natural (biogenic) sources (particularly trees). VOCs are large group of organic chemicals which possess a high vapor pressure at normal room temperature. VOCs are significant predecessors of tropospheric ozone (O3), and can effect on the environment mainly on the air quality and global temperature. Between all the available VOCs, Benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene, and xylene (BTEX) are the most characteristic components of VOC pollution in air. They take parts in the photochemical production of secondary air pollutants that damage the atmosphere and impact human health. Previous studies surveyed that VOC concentration in indoor air is higher than in outside air. This study analyses the effect of the unstable (Volatile) organic compounds which causes impacts in the air quality, climate as well as health and validate determination methods for them, describe their absorptions and estimation of the assistances of different VOC sources.
