| dc.description.abstract | eal-time spare parts inventory management in the mining industry. From this perspective, we investigated a holistic and multidisciplinary approach that combines business process reengineering, systems engineering, and software development. The goal was to develop an easy-to-adapt framework for researchers and industry professionals. This research proposed a comprehensive vision of the spare parts inventory management process and provided managers with the ability to monitor the process. The proposed digital spare parts management system was successfully implemented for a Moroccan phosphate company. It was demonstrated that the system could save up to 1.3 million DH annually by resolving spare parts inventory issues and improving customer satisfaction in the mining industry.
