Abstract
Dysgraphia is a neuropsychological disorder that causes written language difficulties. This type of disorder often interferes with a student ability to communicate and express ideas. Diagnoses and treatment of Dysgraphia at early age is crucial to enhance the child abilities to learn as well as to reduce emotional and psychological factors that usually comes with such disorder. In this paper we propose a mobile application tool to diagnose Dysgraphia. The tool is mainly customized for children of age range of 5 to 12 years old. The main aim of the tool is to provide a written language assessment that tests the writing and spelling skills of children. This test would be used to derive deductions regarding the level of Dysgraphia in a child. The assessment in the mobile application consists of hand-writing recognition technology that would allow children to write on the screen. The characters written on the screen are then recognized and used as evaluation material to assess the presence of dysgraphia.
