Abstract

The Dar Al Zomorod Company, which supplies medical devices, equipment and supplies for surgery rooms, and dialysis devices sourced from outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is facing the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has created major social and economic challenges that have negatively impacted health, trade, and other sectors around the world. The pandemic has generated an accumulation of requests that have posed challenges to companies’ supply chain management and weighed heavily on hospitals, as some intensive care units have reached patient capacity and warned that they are at risk of running out of basic equipment.
