dc.descriptionCities show significant negative environmental impacts due to the concentration of economic activities, high intensity resource use and extensive use of non-renewable energy. Put differently, the fact that cities are responsible for more than 70% of the world's energy consumption, produce more than 75% of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and are home to more than 50% of the region's population justifies their importance to the environment (Bibri and Krogstie, 2020). Carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions are the primary cause stress of anthropogenic weather trade, contributing to developing international temperatures and environmental instability.
dc.description.abstractEnergy management is important for exploiting the positive aspects of green technologies and achieving sustainable energy use. The increasing global demand for energy and the environmental impacts of fossil fuel use have intensified the need for effective energy management strategies that integrate green technologies and sustainable transportation solutions. This paper examines the importance of green energy demonstration technology and clean transportation development for sustainable energy management. By focusing on the type of integration of smart grid, energy efficient home appliances, advanced building energy control systems, hybrid energy systems and wide temperature variation of material PCM to improve thermal efficiency. Development continues by combining new innovative solutions with effective management strategies and exploring how effective application contributes to reduced energy consumption and environmental impact. In addition, advances in clean transportation—electric vehicles (EVs) and hybrids—have been critically evaluated for their potential to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and fossil fuel dependence. In comparison, this study provides an analysis based on efficiency, price-performance ratio and integration capability; Strengths and challenges are given per approach. In addition, this paper has identified significant challenges and obstacles - including costs, technological challenges, and regulatory obstacles - and offered solutions to overcome these barriers. Findings from this paper imply that Smart Grid Systems can make a difference between 10% and 15%, which challenges the ability to protect users with data protection safety conditions; Energy-Efficient Appliances have been found to save energy by up to 30%, which deters potential use due to financial reasons alone. Ultimately, the goal of this paper is to facilitate energy management strategies and support the implementation and integration of these technologies into comprehensive energy management strategies for a more sustainable and more resilient energy future.
